Question about the News module
My question is in regards to the folowing option: Quote: Separate News Posts Turn this option on to display the posts separately rather than grouped together. I notice when this option is turned of there is a heading at the top of the news column that says, "News". I have a question about limiting the length of thread titles for the news module.I have a custom skin that I did (wel based of another skin) and the way I have the custom module wraper only alows for a certain number of characters in the title area.
I checked on the setings for the Homepage if I could limit the display to a certain number of characters like I can for the actual post content and found that I couldn't do that.

I'm replacing the <br><br> in my posts with <p>. This is done by a Plugin on hok postbitdisplaycomplete. But this hok is not procesed in the news-module, so the News-Posts lok diferent, than inside the Threads.
I had a lok at news.php and tried $news['pagetext'] = "TEST" on Hok vbacmpsmodulenewsbits and similar but canot figure out how to postproces the HTML-Output of the News-Posting.
Can you please give me a hand?

I am runing a 4 column setup at htp:/w.ofroadjunkies.com I have a features module and a ofroad news module that were both copied from the default news module. I placed the features module in the 2nd column and the ofroad news in the third column. In the features column, pictures that are in the postings show up without problems.
